We offer a results-focused, value-added approach that combines a strong instructional design foundation with a long history of developing media and technology solutions, for both soft-skills performance enhancement as well as technical skills development.
Instructional System Design (ISD) foundation
Maguire/Reeder’s technical approach starts with a methodology that is solidly grounded in learning theory and based on the tenets and principles of Instructional Systems Design (ISD). This provides for a comprehensive and systematic process for the design of instructionally effective training products. Simply put, the ISD model of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation offers the tools to meet organizations’ training needs in a rapidly changing environment. Key elements of Maguire/Reeder’s implementation of this model are: The use of behavioral objectives, assuring true results-focused instruction; integration of the organizations’ resources and goals with the needs and capabilities of the students; and identifying the best use of media tools and delivery methods.
Classroom Delivery
Maguire/Reeder understands that the bulk of many organizations’ instruction continues to be delivered within the traditional classroom, providing an unexcelled capability for student-instructor interaction. Instructor Guides and Student Manuals are carefully developed to be accurate and clearly delivered, suiting the styles of a variety of learners. We also offer a diverse range of other technologies to improve the learning environment, including DVD-led instruction, video, and enhanced animation and graphic design, along with integrated or supplementary CBT/web-based delivery. |

E-learning, Web, and Interactive Delivery
Delivering training outside the traditional classroom is the most efficient delivery method for many organizations and also may provide the most flexibility for their workforce. Maguire/Reeder effectively selects and applies the many available media resources and delivery methods from the knowledge gained using the ISD model, and also based on our long demonstrated history of designing and developing new media. A “self-paced” learning environment, particularly when incorporating a Learning Management System, provides a wealth of engaging resources to improve instructional effectiveness.
